About the Department
The Registrar’s office is the first office a new student deals with upon entering into a school. It is also the last office a student officially transacts with after graduation, or when he or she transfers to another school.
The main task of the office is filing, maintenance, verification, and issuance of student records. It is the office that receives, request for, and verifies all records necessary for the formal admission of students in the Colegio. These records include the copy of the birth certificate, original copies of the report card or transcript of record, certificates of good moral character, certificates of transfer eligibility and the like.
When a student leaves, either because he is transferring to another school or has graduated, the Registrar’s Office is responsible for issuing original copies of the Form-137, second copies of the report card ( Form-138 ), certificates of good moral character, certificates of attendance, certificates of enrollment, and many others. In fact, even after a student has been issued all these, the office is still called upon to verify whether documents which former students claim to have been issued by the Colegio are indeed genuine. It is part of our standard operations to verify copies of transcripts and diplomas sent to us from time to time by companies that hire our graduates, or for embassies that wish to verify the authenticity of certifications.
The Registrar’s Office of the Colegio is an institutional office. It serves the student management needs of all levels from the elementary department up to graduate school. As such, the Registrar’s Office is responsible for the implantation of admissions programs in all levels. It houses and maintains all student records, issues all certificates related to student performance, oversee the enrollment, and graduation activities for all levels. It is the official liaison office to the Department of Education and the Commission on Higher Education for all concerns ranging from the applications for Special Orders, changes in the curriculum or grading system, new courses and programs, approval of the school calendar and many others.
